The idea of this daily writing exercise is mostly to build a habit. Through daily writing, I should improve my writing skills. One big skill I want to develop is being able to write faster.
But there’s a problem. As I’m writing more, my brain has unlocked a new stream of topics that I wanted to write about for a long time. For years, these ideas have been chilling somewhere in my head. Now it’s difficult to keep my daily stories on one topic. It’s easy to wander off mid-writing, because there’s so much to say.
Today, I’m going to keep it short. I want to keep my daily streak going. And I want to learn to keep it short when needed and add just the right amount of information. Today’s thought is not a good example, but at least it’s short.
