I'm having a writers block
Well, I'm not writing a book, so I'm not sure if I can speak of a proper writer's block. My main issue now is that, for the last few weeks, most evenings are late and mornings are early. Writing these daily notes is the last thing I do before I go to bed.
Some days, I know what I want to write about. Tonight, I'm clueless. Although I have many ideas during the day, I can still be blank about what to write in the evening. My brain feels empty when it comes to writing topics because I'm also busy with other tasks on my computer. Or maybe it's because I'm not sitting at a desk, but on a couch with my laptop.
Perfectionism could be another reason why I have writer's block. Sometimes I want to do things exactly as I have in my mind, but then never start because of the complexity and lack of time. But in our current case, I'm mostly tired and working on something else.
Actually, I don't believe in writer's block. It's just an excuse not to write. If you think about it, there is only one solution to break the non-writing spell. It's just by starting to write. Sometimes the first sentences are nonsense. But when you take the first hurdle to jot down something on paper, almost always the rest will flow. And if not, then you at least have broken the writer's block.
