A local Thai farmers family from the countryside in Somdet (Kalasin – Isan) prepares two ducks for a family feast.

Once a year, for Songkran (Thai New Year), Thai families come together to get blessed by monks, play with water, and enjoy each other’s company. And what better way than to prepare an extensive meal with the whole family.

And in this case, it’s Larb (Laab) Bpet (Duck).
