We all know people who always say no and are sceptical of everything. The kind of person who only believes in one truth: their own. The opposite are the free-spirited people. I think we all know one or more people in our lives too who seem to go against the grain of society. The type of person who sees energetic connections in everything.
Then, there’s a third group. The open-minded people. These are the type of people who have an opinion on things but are open to discussion. I think the open-minded and free-spirited people have a lot in common. However, I also feel that the free birds sometimes lose connection with reality.
The real world, in other words, society, is a tough place. I would also love to think that there’s only positive energy in the world, but there isn’t. There’s always a balancing opposite factor to anything. The yin to the yang. The bad against the good. The left against the right. Free-spirited versus the closed-minded.
I think the middle ground is where life is best. One foot grounded in reality. In the harsh world we live in. The other foot floating around in what could be. My truth is not absolute, but being grounded in what we can see and touch is important. Being free spirited is sometimes like believing in magic, but it also helps to imagine what could be.
